No persistent chat-content storage

Original messages, translations and voice content are processed only to complete the current request. They are not written to persistent business storage by default or used for training.

Your original messages stay untouched

Translations are shown as assistance or previews before sending. They do not alter the original conversation history on messaging platforms.

Only essential operational data

Essential account status, character usage and security-audit data is retained only for sign-in, quota management and protection against abuse.

No online service can promise zero risk. Protect your account and password, and contact the administrator promptly if you notice anything unusual.

Conversation content is used only for the current translation

The translation gateway processes content only along the path needed to complete your request. Original messages, translations and voice content are not persistently stored by default, used for training or used to alter messages on the original platform.

SAFE UPDATES

Update safely in four steps

From version 0.9.42, the app can check for a new release and remind you to download it. You do not need to uninstall the old version; a normal in-place installation keeps local accounts and settings.

    Check for an update

    Open Settings → About in the translator and choose Check for updates. If your older version has no such option, download the installer directly from this site.

    Download from the official site

    Use the download link in the release notice or the Download for Windows button on this page. Avoid installers forwarded from unknown sources.

    Fully exit the app

    Before installation, close the translator and confirm it has exited from the system tray so old files are no longer in use.

    Install in place and verify

    Run the new installer directly for an in-place update. Reopen the app and confirm the version under Settings → About; do not uninstall the old version first.

Use only the official installer from sjtranslator.win and verify its integrity with the SHA-256 value in the download section.

Yes. Choose an image or MP4 video in the app's wallpaper settings to fill the workspace with a custom background. MP4 videos loop silently. Wallpapers change the appearance, not the content of your conversations.
